Account Breaches Down 50% With Default 2FA: GooglešŸ˜¬


Google revealed that after its decision to enable two-factor authentication by default, account breaches dropped by 50%. The plunge was proof the extra factor is "effective" in safeguarding data, the giant said, although it didn't disclose the number of compromised accounts.

Over 150mn people have been auto-enrolled for 2FA so far, including more than 2mn YouTube creators.
